Welcome to Expense Tracker ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using this App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Expense Tracker is a mobile application that helps users manage and track their expenses efficiently. The App allows users to:
- Record income and expenses.
- Sync data securely through Supabase.
- Sign in with Google or email via Firebase Authentication.
- View insights using Google Analytics.
The App may display non-personalized ads through Google AdMob.
3. User Accounts
To access all features, you may need to create an account using Firebase Authentication (Google or email). You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Be responsible for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
4. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. You can view it anytime within the App or on its Play Store listing.
5. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws of Nepal. You must not:
- Misuse or interfere with the App’s operations or security.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or modify any part of the App.
- Use the App to upload or share harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the App for users who violate these Terms.
6. In-App Advertising
The App may display ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized, and revenue helps support app maintenance. By using the App, you agree to the display of ads within it.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality within the App — including text, graphics, code, and design — are owned by Expense Tracker and protected under copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of calculations, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from errors. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Expense Tracker and its developer shall not be liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, or for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services such as Firebase, Supabase, AdMob, or Google Analytics.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
11. Updates and Modifications
We may update these Terms or the App at any time to reflect improvements, legal changes, or service updates. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Nepal.
